The Hawaii Writers Guild YouTube channel has just introduced a new series of videos. In addition to our previous video offerings of Inside the Writers Studio and Write On!, we now have a third series called Hawaii Writers Showcase, featuring brief readings of selected writings by individual HWG members. Our first video in this new series features member Wendy Wilson reading a story from her collection of writings. You can hear and watch Wendy reading “The Other One” here.  Keep your eyes open for the next episode of Hawaii Writers Showcase coming in a few weeks. More will follow on a regular basis. We'll announce new episodes periodically via our GoogleGroup email channel. While watching the pilot, just click on the red box below the video on the right that says “subscribe.” Several members are lined up to record their readings and we'll reach out when more are needed. In the meanwhile, you can go to our YouTube channel any time to see if there are any new videos. Mahalo nui loa to member Johnson Kahili for spearheading this new addition to our YouTube channel.

Okay, it’s here folks!  After a long, arduous submission/ evaluation/ editing/publishing process, the Third Edition of Latitudes, our online Literary Journal, is finally finished and available for viewing on our website. There’s a plethora of outstanding  Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, and Drama available for your reading pleasure available here. And if you’re a bit gun-shy about clicking on links, just hie on over to our website at hawaiiwritersguild.com and click on the MORE menu. Look for “LITREVIEW THIRD EDITION” near the bottom of the MORE menu and have at it, but give yourself plenty of time. There’s a helluva lot of great reading there.

And speaking of Latitudes, the First and Second Editions of the journal, are also available online for your reading pleasure. You can get to them by using the "MORE" menu above and choosing the LITREVIEW FIRST EDITION or LITREVIEW SECOND EDITION choices at the bottom of the dropdown list.
