Jan Asch’s writing career spans about 40 years. She has published children’s stories, poems, children’s songs and educational books in the past but since moving to North Kohala has focused on writing Ten Minute Plays, and Dramatic Monologues for the Kohala Ten Minute Play Festival.
Alyssia and the Golden Harp represents her first attempt at a Dramatic Monologue. It was intended to be performed outdoors around a bonfire. She lives in Kapa’au Hawaii.
