Swim upstream, a quick glance back Navigate a strange tack. Not knowing a soul A sky too wide Searching for limits Footprints on strange soil Thoughts rattle and swirl. A net like family offers embrace, With holes that leave a sense of space To breathe in freedom Allow escape Stretch the holes Push through confines Release the straining tether. Everyday splendors distract the vision Family soothes in rough transition. Rainbow colors entice Small conversations suffice The quest to belong and seek out the simplest Message in breath of acceptance. The wind blows whispers We embrace new wonders Tickle the surface And expose the shore Kick the trail in unfound direction Seek new memories And break the flimsy boundaries. Slippery connections drift away, Rising tides bring new allies Sketch a new vision Filled with revision Erase old worries Paint coconut oil on false scars. Live the life uncharted. |
