Aloha to my fellow writers, readers, and anyone who drops by this page. After many years of dreaming about living on the Big Island of Hawaii, my husband Bill and I finally made the move from Austin, Texas, in October 2020. This was a terrible time to do this, as Covid-19 caused many roadblocks before, during, and after our move. However, we made it, as did our two dogs, Meryl Streep and Lord Byron. Here's a pic of me signing books at the Texas Book Festival in Austin, where I was a member of the Writers League of Texas. The group sponsors a booth each year for members to sell their work. The annual festival was founded under the guidance of then Texas First Lady Laura Bush, a former librarian.
Upcoming Projects I'm writing a sequel to my mystery OUT AND IN, called ICE AND FIRE. It's set on the Big Island, where lovely cellist Marie Donovan and her team are trying to catch a murderer who is targeting some of the world's top astronomers. I'm currently seeking up to 25 beta readers for ICE AND FIRE ... mystery readers who will provide general input (no editing/proofing) as the work progresses.
