    Recently, during the pandemic of 2020, Patty decided to brush the dust from the old manuscript and breathe new life into the piece. Unable to resurrect it as a staged performance because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, she rewrote the work as a musical presentation, perhaps to be performed at some point in the future by members of the Waimea Community Chorus. Although the basic Christmas storyline remained intact, a name change and a major revision of the music, lyrics, dialogue, and “stage direction" became necessary to adapt it from stage play to musical presentation. On December 20, 2020, the reborn and modified play was produced by Kahilu Theatre in Waimea and streamed as a forty-five minute musical presentation entitled "Christmas Makes Me Crazy!"
