The Eternus Trilogy Parts One & Two
Synopsis: The former United States, 2300 AD. America is now called Celebrus Natio (Rich Nation), and the citizens live under total control of the Council Four. Dawnielle Ellis, seventeen, lives with her family and struggles with her ability to control metal, stone, wood and electricity and to heal herself with water. One day, she is drafted to perform in the annual circus contest, where participants are thrust into a highly dangerous race to the finish, and the losers are condemned to compete until they win. Dawnielle, along with three others from her hometown, train for the treacherous Circus Empodio (obstacle course). After she flouts the strict rules of the competition by saving two members of the opposing team, she goes public with her connection to Davan Hier, her childhood crush. Two years later, her younger siblings Al and Gabby are chosen at the Circus Lottery for the Maze contest, which has been enhanced with booby traps and technological animals.
