I'm being wooed by the bland side. It pulls me out to sea on a lukewarm tide. Seduced by the spirit of mediocrity, I'm pushed up high into a slow moving orbit that's going nowhere. Now floating far above those things ranked and ranged in order from the very good to the very bad, I look down and choose to celebrate dull average, seeing it too is worthy of honor and not to be ignored. Filled with this new faith and love, I sing praises to everybody and everything that is neither too high or too low. I rejoice in all that is just so-so |
